CATIA document is checked out as a read only file

Problem: when a user checks out a file from CAITA it is checked out as read only

NoteL Make sure the file is really checked out, not just content only

Solution:
	Log the user off; or do this behinf the seans from your computer
	start --> run type "\\username-xpws\c$" This will drop you into the user's C dirve

	Right click on thier download directory folder and swithc it to "not read only"
	
	Add the user and Everyone to the permissions of the folder and give them full access

	Also give Everyone full access to the ENG_USER folder

The user should now be able to corectly check in and out of windchill as normal
